DREAMERS PARADISE: JOSHUA TREE
California is a road trip paradise, so much to see in this amazing state! One place worth visiting is the incredible “JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK”.
Our road trip started in sunny Los Angeles, and after 24hours spent in the City of Angels, we then headed to glorious Palm Springs for a few days, where we rose early to drive to “Salvation Mountain”, and later that day headed to "Joshua Tree National Park".
In 4 days we drove a mega amount of miles -well my amazing sister Mary-Kate was the only one of us with a driving licence, so we can only say that we sang along to the radio and kept her entertained!
For us it was a work trip so we would rise early to see each sunrise, and made the most of this adventure, and it’s amazing what you can fit in 4 days when you have a deadline, and you are travelling with like-minded people.
We only spent a few hours is “Joshua Tree National Park”, however it left us all wanting to return, the landscape is breath-taking, and driving through it we kept stopping to snap photos. As you leave the park, we headed into “Joshua Tree Town”, which is worth stopping and having a walk around, there are even some cool vintage shops. We did snap the biggest Cactus we have ever seen as we drove through the town. Highly recommend this road trip, "Joshua Tree National Park" is well worth it"!
