AN EXCEPTIONAL TIME... AN EXCEPTIONAL CAUSE!
This October we launched our BCC Dress in association with Breast Cancer Care charity & QVC to raise money for this incredible charity; that will support the thousands of people living with breast cancer every day.
The ONJENU exclusive printed dress for #QVCBCC went on sale live on air alongside lots of other amazing products like Stila Cosmetics, for a three hour show dedicated to raising money for BCC. Lots of great people were involved backstage, Lulu and Lisa Snowdon and Jack Pack were there showing their support! We first got involved last October, and it is our focus to be able to design an exclusive Onjenu piece every year, last year we donated 150 exclusive pieces with the pink ribbon as inspiration, and this October we donated 200 of a new pink ribbon inspired dress.A few days later, I was honoured to have been invited to THE SHOW, The Show London is an event held each year to mark the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These very special shows celebrate the strength and courage of models while showcasing the very latest in designer fashion, creating a fundraising event like no other. World renowned fashion correspondent Hilary Alexander was the stylist of The Show and will work alongside professional hair and makeup teams, with support from Breast Cancer Care’s celebrity ambassadors and patrons including Geri Halliwell, Denise Lewis OBE, Andrea McLean, Amanda Mealing and Lisa Snowdon to name-check just a few. This year’s hosts were Penny Smith, Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. Our guest performers include The Overtones, Andrea Faustini and Jack Pack.Experience the powerful and uplifting atmosphere as models, who have all been diagnosed with breast cancer, take to the catwalk for the very first time. https://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/fundraising/show-london#sthash.4h63eQ2N.dpufIt
It was also an exceptional honor to see the support of ITV present Amanda Lamb, Chanel 4's Countdown star Rachel Riley and former presenter and founder of hit Youtube series Katie Puckrik for also showing their support in Aid of Breast Cancer Care by wearing our BCC dress.
